In 1995, I left St. Petersburg, Russia, and moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with my two young sons, a college diploma in fine art and art restoration, and boxes of oil paints. Ten years later, when my career in Graphic Design was long enough to be considered a success, and my sons were old enough to go to college, these oils were put to a good use. Finally, I knew an answer to the question I've been pondering on for a while – to paint or not to paint. Spring in Pittsburgh, my first large conceptual piece, was accepted into a juried exhibition and featured in a paper. Since then, I had two solo exhibitions in Pittsburgh, participated in several local group shows, completed a number of commissioned pieces for customers both in the U. S. and abroad, and was displaying my works at two area's prestigious art festivals for last three years. Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed visiting this site.
