ABOUT & CONTACT

Yelena Lamm was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where she received her formal art training from the N. K. Roerich Fine Arts School. Since 1995, she lives in Pittsburgh, PA. Yelena is painting primarily in oil. In her lively and colorful portraits of pets and animals she loves to reflect on her subjects’ characters and personalities.

Yelena recently joined Society of Animal Artists where she was immediately accepted as a signature member. Yelena’s works were selected for and won awards in juried group shows, including Oil Painters of America (OPA) and National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS) national exhibitions. She was selected as a finalist in the 15th ARC Salon and semi-finalist in the 16th ARC Salon. Her list of awards from Westmoreland Art Nationals exhibitions includes Best in Show in 2022. In June 2023, Yelena’s animal portraits were featured on the cover and in a 6-page article by Artists and Illustrators, Britain’s most popular magazine for practicing artists.

Yelena’s works are represented by Reinert Fine Art in Charleston, SC, Main Exhibit Gallery in Ligonier, PA, and Exposure in Sewickley, PA.
